Grand Rapids, Michigan will host the 2018 Nike USA Weightlifting National Youth Championships, powered by Rogue Fitness as well as the 2018 Youth Olympic Games Trials June 14-17, 2018.
The competition will happen at the DeVos Convention Center in downtown Grand Rapids with hotel facilities provided at the attached Amway Grand Plaza, part of the Hilton Curio Collection. The event returns to Michigan for the first time since 2012 when the event was held in Dearborn, Michigan, and to the Mid-West region for the first time since 2013.
Grand Rapids is served by Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), which is served by a variety of airlines including United, Southwest, Allegiant, American and Delta.

The 2018 Youth Olympic Games trials will be the final qualification event for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina later in the year.
The 2018 event will feature an additional athletic test for athletes, which is open for all registered athletes across the weekend free of charge. In addition, the 2018 event will extend the Technique Medal program, giving a medal to any athlete scoring 8 of 10 or more in Technique.

The same venue recently hosted the American Open Series III, very successfully supported by 4 Star Strength who brought over 30 volunteers to assist with running the event.
