Lansing hosts several national and regional sports events this summer

The Lansing area will host more than 8,000 athletes this month and next as they compete in a variety of national and regional sports events.


USA High School Clay Target League National Championships

Michigan Trapshooting Association, July 10-14

Nearly 3,000 of the nation’s best clay target student athletes will gather in Mason, Michigan, to compete for the title of National Champion.

Mid-Michigan 7’s (Eastern Men's Regional & Women's Event)

Hope Sports Complex, July 13

Approximately 200 athletes from 16 teams in the Midwest will compete in Lansing for a spot at the USA Rugby National 7s Championship.

Capital City Tennis Classic

Michigan State University Tennis Courts, July 15-21

This event will feature 120 players in both singles and doubles draws.
