On March 20 and 21, the Outdoor Skills Academy pro staff present a steelhead clinic at Mitchell State Park in Cadillac.
The pro-staff will present various strategies and techniques for chasing Michigan's "chrome torpedoes." Feel free to bring your own gear, if possible, or if you're new to steelheading, some equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sunday morning we will hit the water and show you how to fish and what to look for on the beautiful Manistee River.
Cost for the class is $25, which includes lunch on Saturday.
Participation is limited to 20 students.
Participants, employees and volunteers will be required to wear face coverings and will make every effort to maintain at least 6 feet separation throughout the class. See below for additional safety protocols that will be followed.
