Several sports events will bring more than 7,000 athletes and thousands more coaches, families and spectators to the Lansing area in March. The Lansing Sports Commission® is excited to host Spartan Showcases, MHSAA basketball finals, and more.

Girls Spartan Classic (Basketball)
March 8-9 | Multiple Gyms across Greater Lansing
Approximately 1800 athletes from the midwest compete in this youth basketball event.

MHSAA Boys Basketball Semi-Finals & Finals
March 13 – 15 | Breslin Center
High School teams and fans from around Michigan will come to East Lansing for this three-day single elimination annual tournament. Semi-finals take place March 13 and 14, with the State Championship on Saturday, March 15.

NASP State Tournament (Archery)
March 14 – 15 | Lansing Center
Michigan Department of Natural Resources returns to the Lansing Center to host this annual state archery tournament, bringing nearly 1,000 competitors to the region.

Howard E Van Camp Invitational (Ice Skating)
March 14 – 16 | Biggby Coffee Ice Cube East Lansing
The 50th annual figure skating invitational draws 250 competitors over two days.
