At the Brainerd Jaycees $150,000 Ice Fishing Extravaganza, ice fishing's largest prize package will be up for grabs as thousands of anglers hit the lake with family and friends.
With over $150,000 in cash and prizes, this event is a can't miss affair! All proceeds are donated to Confidence Learning Center and other local charities.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is urging motorists to use caution on Highway 371 on Jan. 25 during Gull Lake Fishing Extravaganza.
Mn/DOT and State Patrol encourage motorists traveling northbound and southbound Highway 371 during the daylight hours to be alert to lane closures in front of Gull Lake-Hole In the Day Bay and the Brainerd International Raceway, during the Jaycees Fishing Extravaganza. Highway 371 traffic will be single lane at Gull Lake to allow for a shuttle bus/vehicle drop off site. Law enforcement will be controlling traffic in the area.
