Mankato to Host Ice Fishing Competition

All Proceeds to Benefit MSU Athletic Scholarship Fund

Mankato, Minnesota, will host an ice fishing contest. The competition, the 2014 Hummingbird Big Bobber Ice Fishing Contest, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1st, 2014 on Lake Washington  boasts several prizes including $4,000 in cash.

All proceeds from the event go toward MSU athletic scholarships.

A ticket for the event is $40.00 for two holes.  Each contestant can purchase a maximum of one ticket (two holes).  Registration begins at 10:00am, hole selection goes from 10:00am to 12:00pm, and the tournament runs from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

There will be pre-event beer sampling, raffles, pull tabs, and concessions with food and beverage.
