The Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex (CVAC) is a 176-acre complex in Chesterfield Valley that consists of 21 ball diamonds, 10 multi-purpose fields (soccer, flag football, lacrosse and Ultimate), six practice baseball/softball fields, six sand volleyball courts, four concession buildings, two playgrounds and four (yes, four) parking lots. These fields are utilized for organized play such as youth and adult leagues, tournaments, camps and clinics. CVAC is also home to the Catch 22 Miracle Field which is a Mondo baseball field for individuals with disabilities. The Miracle Field was newly resurfaced in 2024, which also included a new scoreboard and adjacent playground.
Of the 21 ball diamonds, 16 have synthetic infields for baseball and softball that are perfect to play through the elements. All of the synthetic infields are lighted fields and are capable of hosting games for multiple different age divisions.
Partnerships
In 2023, the City of Chesterfield and Perfect Game signed an agreement bringing Perfect Game to CVAC. Perfect Game is considered to be the biggest youth baseball/softball platform and scouting service in the world. The City of Chesterfield looks forward to continue seeing high-level baseball and softball competitions for years to come.
Chesterfield Baseball and Softball Association (CBSA) is another group that has partnered with CVAC on the baseball/softball side of the complex. CBSA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist the interest of those who participate, at all skill levels. Their leagues are home to over 8,000 players annually.
CVAC is also the home field for Ascension soccer. Through a community partnership with the Ascension Athletic Association, the City of Chesterfield maintains and sets up fields for all home games for Ascension Soccer.
