Opening day will have a whole new meaning for youth baseball next year. In the summer of 2015, families from across the country will descend on Branson, Missouri for the baseball experience of a lifetime.
Construction will soon begin on Ballparks of America, Branson, which will feature two-thirds replicas of some of the most prominent Major League Baseball stadiums of past and present. Youth teams will have the chance to field one off the Green Monster or play in Tiger Stadium, Wrigley Field and others. The facility will initially host 24 to 48 youth baseball teams for tournaments throughout the year, but those behind Ballparks of America, Branson expect those numbers to increase dramatically.

The park is the innovation of Hamilton Chang, a father of four youth baseball players. Frustrated by the lack of “destination” youth ballparks, Chang designed Ballparks of America, Branson as a way to give youth baseball the landmark facility it deserved.
The venue will include on-site dormitories for the youth teams, retail shopping and fan experiences found at current major league baseball facilities in addition to the stadiums. Ballparks of America, Branson, a $24 million project is expected to open in late May 2015.
