Volleyball will be an ace in the new year for Kansas City, with four of the city’s largest events in 2025 being volleyball tournaments. Visit KC estimates these four events alone will result in more than 100,000 room nights booked at local hotels and over $66 million in direct economic impact.
“Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited and ready to welcome our conventions and events partners to Kansas City. Hundreds of diverse organizations from all over the country chose Kansas City for their next event, and that is something we should all be proud of,” said Brett Oetting, Visit KC’s chief operating officer.
“These events are critical to the ongoing success and growth of Kansas City as hundreds of thousands of visitors will spend millions of dollars at local small businesses while here. Those same visitors will also contribute millions in sales tax revenues to the city government for use on essential services.”
