USA Boxing Festival Announced

USA Boxing’s National Office announces the 2014 USA Boxing Festival, to be held July 27-August 3 at the Ringside Tournament in Kansas City, MO. This exciting week of activities will be held in conjunction with the 2014 Ringside Boxing Tournament.

Travel stipends are being offered to Physicians and Officials-R/J’s (Click here to register with Ringside). This is a great opportunity to witness five days of action packed age-group competitions and also participate in the following activities:

• Membership Assembly
• Town Hall Meeting – opportunity to meet new leadership and discuss important issues in an open forum
• Coaches Clinic and informational seminars relating to the new AIBA 1, 2 and 3 Star Certification Programs
• Officials Clinic and informational seminars on the new AIBA 1, 2 and 3 Star Certification Programs
• Road to Rio – Staff will be providing a guide to U.S.A. 2016 Olympic qualifying process (2015 and 2016 competitions and quota allocations)
• World Series of Boxing – Staff will provide orientation and updates relating to this new Olympic Qualifying competition
• APB (AIBA Pro Boxing) – Staff will discuss the IOC approval of professional boxers to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games
• Production of Ringside Physicians and R/J Training Videos
• USA Boxing Committee Updates
• USA Boxing Foundation Meeting
• USA Boxing Board of Directors Meeting
• Ringside Physician Workshop
