World Championships of Ping Pong US Qualifier Added to US Nationals

USA Table Tennis (USATT) announced that the US Qualifier for the World Championships of Ping Pong has been scheduled as part of 2015 USATT National Championship Week at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The WCPP US Qualifier is scheduled to take place at 8am on Monday, December 14th. USATT’s National Championship week takes place in Las Vegas, NV from December 14 – 19, 2015, culminating in the Men’s and Women’s Final Table at Brooklyn Bowl on the evening of December 19.

The official entry form for WCPP US Qualifier will be available on the USATT website, www.usatt.org, beginning on Friday, October 30th. The deadline to enter is December 14, 2015. The entry fee is $20, and participants are not required to be USATT members to participate. Participants must, however, be US citizens or hold a valid work visa (proof of citizenship is required).

Using traditional sandpaper rackets, the World Championship of Ping Pong is a throwback to the early days of table tennis. The top two qualifiers from the US Qualifier will be invited to play in the World Championships of Ping Pong at Alexandra Palace, London (England) from Friday, January 22 – Sunday, January 24, 2015.
