Hillsound Equipment- the leading producer of winter traction equipment and gaiters for urban and outdoor enthusiasts- is excited to be a product sponsor for the 9th annual Winter Wild Race Series. Each race in the New England-based series is set to challenge both the legs and the lungs in a 2-5 mile course with ascents and descents between 700 and 2,000 feet.
Winter Wild fuels their mission to ‘inspire active living’ by hosting fun winter events for all fitness levels- from novice to expert athletes. Each race aims to promote healthy competitions, challenges, and local business in the New England area. The Winter Wild races are ‘an uphill series with a twist.’ Each race begins and ends at the bottom of the mountain, so participants can enjoy the thrill of going downhill to finish the race.
“We are so glad to be able to provide our Trail Crampon Ultras to the participants,” said Hillsound Equipment Marketing Manager, YooRa Kang. “A large portion of the race is ascents and descents, often on slippery terrain, which means our traction devices are ideal for participants to stay safe and have fun while on the trail!”
Supporting the Winter Wild race series directly aligns with Hillsound’s values of getting outdoors, staying safe, and having fun. Hillsound strives to improve users’ performance while reaching new heights. Their lightweight, high strength, stainless steel traction devices will help keep racers from slipping and falling on the slick trails during each race of the Winter Wild Series.
