Enjoy a week filled with excitement and friendly team competition at the largest holiday co-ed basketball tournament in the country. The annual Boardwalk Basketball Classic returns to the Wildwoods Convention Center Tuesday, December 26 through Sunday, December 31 for six days of no-stop action.
The tournament will feature an impressive lineup of high school boys and girls basketball teams from the South Jersey and Delaware Valley areas, totaling approximately 1,000 competitors.
The tournament kicks off with a special Battle at the Boards high school basketball showcase event on Saturday, December 23. The event will feature boys and girls games involving area schools such as Cape May Tech, Lower Cape May, Middle Township, Ocean City, as well as tournament co-hosts Wildwood and Wildwood Catholic, and many more from South Jersey and the surrounding areas. The six-day Boardwalk Basketball Classic Tournament continues to be one of the largest single-venue coed high school holiday basketball tournament in the United States. Since its inception in 1998, the tournament has raised nearly $300,000 in college scholarship money for graduating seniors at Wildwood High School and Wildwood Catholic Academy, the two host schools of the event. The tournament is run by an all-volunteer board that solicits scholarships, ticket sales, and other support.
