Moreys Piers, New Jersey, to Host Beach Footgolf

Moreys Piers, NJ, will host beach footgolf on July 9-10, 2016 & July 16-17, 2016.

This is the only FootGolf sand tournament in the U.S. Held on the beautiful beaches of Wildwood, NJ with magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean, FootGolf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, combining the two popular sports of soccer and golf. 

The main goal of FootGolf is to kick a soccer ball, into a hole, with the fewest number of kicks possible.  Since the game will be taking place on the beach each hole is designed from sand and athletes will use soccer balls on a sand golf course with 21-inch diameter cups.  The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf in that there will be 9 holes with tee boxes, bunkers, hazards and greens.  And the great part about this game!  You don't need to lug around your golf clubs - all you need is a soccer ball and your foot to play!
