Wildwoods Announces Chilling Polar Bear Plunge Statistics

915 participants braved the cold and windy conditions to plunge into the Atlantic Ocean during the Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, January 13.

The Polar Bear Plunge presents a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support Special Olympics New Jersey athletes by jumping into the frigid Atlantic waters. Plunge participants help raise money for the more than 21,000 Special Olympics athletes that train and compete year-round, throughout New Jersey.
