The Albany Capital Center (ACC) announced they have been awarded the only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation in the facilities industry. Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR-accredited facilities indicate the rigorous cleaning disinfection and prevention guidelines critical in keeping spaces clean and safe for visitors.
The GBAC STAR seal is reserved only for facilities that maintain the proper protocols for cleaning, indicating that the space has been disinfected to higher standards. The ACC has undergone a rigorous screening process to adhere to 20 Elements that include regular facility inspections and other high-level cleaning commitments.
"While ACC has always had stringent standards for our facility's cleanliness, this accreditation should provide guests with further assurance and confidence that our staff is properly trained and working hard to ensure their trust while performing building sanitation and safety," said Shannon Licygiewicz, general manager, Albany Capital Center.
