The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is requesting bids from interested cities and venues on its 2022 and 2024 Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, as well as its 2022 and 2023 Women’s Lacrosse National Championships. Bids are due on September 1 and the info you need is here.
2022 and 2024 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships
Swimming and Diving is a four-day event that culminates in the crowning of both the men’s and women’s champions for the year. The championship attracts approximately 325 student-athletes and just shy of 1,000 fans on average.
Beyond the economic impact to the community, the NAIA gives its hosts significant opportunities to realize a return on the investment. The NAIA model transfers all revenue rights (ticket sales, sponsorship, rebates, etc.) to the winning bidder.
Below are some of the key benefits in hosting the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

- Average length of stay: Four to five nights
- Total participants: 325
