The Alliance Sportsmanship Foundation is excited to announce that the Hendrick Automotive Group will be the title sponsor of the inaugural Queen City Senior Bowl, a community experience established to create a memorable and rewarding week for many of the best high school football players and coaches in Charlotte, N.C. The game will be played on Saturday, December 21 at the Sportsplex in Matthews, N.C. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. Although the game is a platform for student-athletes to showcase their unique athletic talent, the focus is all about community.

We are overjoyed to have their support for the inaugural Queen City Senior Bowl,” says Damon White, Co-Founder of the Alliance Sportsmanship Foundation. “The Queen City Senior Bowl is one of the first programs established by the foundation.”

The Hendrick Automotive Group Queen City Senior Bowl will select one local charity to support each year. Select proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Metro School, a community who serves 250 students all of whom are cognitively disabled. Their mission is to provide a comprehensive, personally relevant educational environment while challenging each student to develop his or her abilities, skills, and talents.
The Hendrick Automotive Group Queen City Senior Bowl will be television locally on WAXN, channel 64 and distributed nationally on ESPN3. Phil Orban, Reggie Walker and DaShawn Brown will the announcers for the game.
