For the first-time ever, the ACC Baseball Championship will also feature the Triangle Youth Clinic, a baseball clinic for local youth, ages 7 to 12. The Triangle Sports Commission is hosting the 2018 Triangle Youth Clinic from 10:30am to 3pm on Saturday, May 26 at Durham Athletic Park.
Eric Campbell, National Teams Director for USA Baseball, will serve as Head Coach for the Youth Clinic. Additional coaches include Jim Koerner, Head Coach, NC Central University; Eric Tyler of Baseball Rebellion; and Rodney Whitesell, Head Coach, Holly Springs High School.
In addition to top-level baseball skills instruction and a Chick-fil-A lunch, Clinic athletes will receive a special goody bag, commemorative t-shirt, and official certificate of participation. In addition, each participant will get a complimentary ticket to the ACC Baseball Championship Saturday evening semifinal game where they will take part in a Parade of Athletes across the championship diamond.
