The Ebony Anglers Foundation is thrilled to announce that it's time for the second Annual Legacy Camp at Cape Lookout National Seashore.
Camp Details:
Date: Saturday, October 19th
Location: Cape Lookout National Seashore, Harkers Island, NC
Meeting Time: 5:30 AM SHARP at a Durham Location TBD
Return Time: Around 8-8:30 PM
Ages: All Legacy Campers welcome to apply who have participated in our Falls Lake camp in the past
Cost: Covered by our partnership and grant from the National Park Foundation!
What's in Store: This exciting day will kick off with a breakfast on a chartered shuttle, where your camper will have the chance to meet their fellow campers and enjoy the scenic ride to the coast. Get ready to explore Cape Lookout National Seashore, a stunning National Park right here in North Carolina.
Activities include:
- Learning about the National Park
- Engaging in a fun Junior Ranger Angler program
- Trying your hand at shore fishing for species like Spanish mackerel, false albacore, and bluefish
- Enjoying a tasty lunch
- Participating in engaging stations about fishing, conservation, stewardship and more
- Fishing on the "spit," a perfect fishing spot at Cape Lookout
