JOSC Has Boxing, Running Events Coming Up

January 10-12, JOSC is hosting a Silver Gloves Boxing Regional. We were able to land this event through relationships built from hosting Carolina Gloves (which is coming up in February) and our annual Freedom Fight (August). This regional features boxers (ages 8-17) from Maryland, DC, Virgina, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, West Virginia, and North Carolina. We are expecting 250 boxers plus coaches,officials, families and friends. Winners here will be moving on to the Nationals. This will also be held at the Commons Recreation Center and tickets can be purchased at the website link above or at the door.

That same weekend, our annual Marine Chevy Beat The Bridge 10k and 5k is January 11th . This race winds through downtown Jacksonville and crosses the two bridges over the New River. The event is in partnership with Semper Fi & America’s Fund and it kicks off the 2025 JOSC Race Series, presented by Guild Mortgage: Team Amy Goss.
