Raleigh Hosting Deep South Classic

For the third consecutive year, girls' basketball will take center court at the Raleigh Convention Center, Apr. 24-26. The Deep South Classic, presented by GRSA, is expected to bring together approximately 400 of the top girls' basketball teams from across the country and put them under one roof, using 20 courts in the convention center's exhibit hall. The event is expected to generate more than $2 million in direct visitor spending. More than 400 college coaches are expected to be in attendance for recruiting purposes.
