Family-owned and operated outfitter Wildwater is excited to announce their Green Friday event— a Black Friday alternative for families looking to get outdoors while giving back to the local community. On November 29th only, a portion of proceeds from all Nantahala and Asheville-based aerial adventures will go to benefit local watershed conservation nonprofit Riverlink, local Hemlock restoration efforts and other area nonprofits.
With over 88 unique climbing, zipping, walking, jumping, swinging, and rappelling challenges to experience, Wildwater’s Green Friday has something for all ages. Located less than two hours from Charlotte, Greenville, Spartanburg, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, the Green Friday celebrations at Wildwater Asheville and Nantahala offer the perfect opportunity for families to reconnect through adventure during the busy holiday season.
“The holidays are a time for families to spend time together,” says Trey Barnett, Regional Marketing Director for Wildwater. “We are proud to offer them a place to do that, while also getting the chance to give back to our local community.”
Beat the crowded shopping centers this November 29th and adventure on with Wildwater’s Green Friday event. 50% of the proceeds from the day will go to Riverlink, local Hemlock restoration efforts and other area nonprofits.
