The PGA of America has named Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the replacement venue for the 2022 US PGA Championship.
This is the fifth time the event will be held in Tulsa, and the first since Tiger Woods won it in 2007. The tournament will take place from May 19-22.
“Excited to return to SHCC for the fifth time,' the PGA of America said on Twitter. 'The course offers a tough-but-fair test for the strongest field in golf.”
In addition to the PGA Championship, Southern Hills has hosted the US Open on three occasions, first in 1958 and then again in 1977 and 2001.
