Archery Canada is pleased to announce that the Canada Cup East for 2024 will be hosted in the town of Caledon, Ontario. The event is scheduled to take place from June 21st to 23rd, 2024.
The organizing committee for the 2024 Canada Cup East will be led by The Archers of Caledon, with the support of Archery Ontario and Archery Canada.
"We look forward to working with the Town of Caledon, local businesses and regional sports organizations to host this great event,” said The Archers of Caledon Board president, April White. “This event fits in very well with current club initiatives that are supported by a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to improve accessibility by para-archers and increase the capacity and number of tournaments, including training more competition coaches, officials and judges. We will be offering Try Archery sessions during the event to enable everyone to experience and enjoy the sport of archery.”
The Canada Cup East is an annual Archery Canada sanctioned competition, and this edition will see participants from primarily eastern Canada from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia, with past editions attracting American participants, all converging in Caledon for a display of skill and sportsmanship.
Archers can look forward to experiencing top-notch competition, as well as the warm hospitality that Caledon has to offer. As in previous years, the event aims to strengthen community ties and promote the sport of archery throughout the region.
Archery Canada extends its appreciation to the host committee in Caledon for their dedication and commitment to organizing this event. The Canada Cup East has a proud history of bringing together archers from different provinces.
