The 2014 Portland Marathon Event Directors College, scheduled to coincide with the 43rd Portland Marathon, will take place October 2-4, 2014, at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. An interactive and educational experience, the Event Directors College is primarily a "tactical" hands-on workshop/conference where the details of how to put on an event of any size are reviewed and discussed.
In addition to programming session on logistics, safety, policy, health and more, the conference will include an exhibit hall, as well as the opportunity to volunteer for the Portland Marathon, which takes place that weekend.
