The Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Pittsburgh Chapter has awarded the Supplier of the Year to Angie Jasper, CMP, National Sales Manager of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center (DLCC).
Jasper, a three-year active MPI participant and Board member, was recognized for her dedication and exemplary professionalism in the hospitality industry.
“I love the energy and welcoming atmosphere of MPI,” Jasper said. “The openness of the organization inspired me to join the 2018-2019 MPI Pittsburgh Board of Directors and volunteer in 2020. This opportunity helped me build leadership skills and hone additional skills not currently required in my position.
“Being a part of MPI Pittsburgh Chapter provides me the opportunity to catch up with friends, meet new people and expand my knowledge of the industry while also offering me access to thousands of event experts and online education opportunities. I really appreciate the network of industry professionals and lifelong bonds I’ve built through MPI Pittsburgh.”
“The entire team here at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center is proud of Angie’s achievement and for being recognized as a leader in our industry,” Tim Muldoon, General Manager of the DLCC, an ASM Managed Facility, said. “Since her time here with the team at the DLCC, Angie has truly made a difference not only in a sales capacity, but as a true ambassador for our world-class destination.”
