Don’t Give Up the Disc Tournament Returns to Presque Isle

The Erie Sports Commission is pleased to announce the 16^th annual Don’t Give Up the Disc Beach Ultimate Tournament will return to Beach 11 at Presque Isle State Park on July 9 and 10.

The tournament will feature 15 teams with all play taking place on Beach 11. Teams are expected from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and Ontario. The defending tournament champions, Erie Brig, who also attended the Beach Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va. in May, will compete again in 2016.

The co-ed tournament is organized as four versus four, and offense dictates a 3:1 or 2:2 male to female ratio.

Admission is free for spectators on both days. Erie Ultimate League will have discs and merchandise for sale at the event to support their youth clinics, which are offered free to new players in middle and high school age brackets.
