Sinai Sports will be hosting Season 9 of the Midwest Regional Championship of the World Ninja League starting Friday evening and continuing all day Saturday and Sunday.
This event begins at 7 a.m. on Friday and ends at 9:45 p.m. On Saturday, the regional championship starts at 8:00 a.m. with activities for ages 6-8, followed by adult participation until 9:45 p.m. Sunday’s event starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. More than 150 participants aged six-40 will come from Pittsburgh, Columbus, Western New York, and Canada to compete.
In addition, Syracuse Select is returning to Erie for its Spring Slam Fest taking place Saturday and Sunday at Hagerty Events Center and Cathedral Prep. The Syracuse Select Spring Slam Fest invites AAU, club and school teams to compete in the basketball tournament. Boys and girls grade four though 12 will battle on the court with a guarantee of three games. Nearly 50 teams are expected to compete.
Also happening Saturday, the United States Canine Scent Sports and Groovy Pooch will host a classic trial at 9 a.m. at the Greene Township Building. At this event, dogs will have the opportunity to compete using their scent skills.
This weekend marks week seven of the 84th PA State USBC Open Championships happening all day Saturday and Sunday at Eastway Lanes and Eastland Bowl.
