SportsPITTSBURGH has agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the Atlantic 10’s package of men’s basketball games that will appear on Facebook Live this season, in anticipation of the 2017 A-10 Championship, which will be played at PPG Paints Arena in downtown Pittsburgh, March 8-12 (buy tickets).
Promotions for SportsPITTSBURGH will appear within the Facebook Live game posts. Earlier this year, the A-10 became the first conference to use the social media network to distribute a package of regular season games. (SportTechie Article)
The agreement, which was made in conjunction with IMG, also encompasses other digital and social media elements and activation at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship.

The first two A-10 games on Facebook Live, which took place on Nov. 11 and 14, combined to generate more than a quarter million unique viewers. The SportsPITTSBURGH partnership begins with Wednesday’s night’s Vanderbilt at Dayton game at 7 pm.
