The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) and the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks are excited to be hosting the first event since March 15 at the beautiful, 240,000-square-foot Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks.

For events, The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center offers easy accessibility, thousands of free parking spaces, two hotels, and many retail, restaurant, and world-class entertainment attractions all located on the same property.

“The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks is excited to be hosting its first event as the county begins to reopen for business and events,” according to a statement released by the Expo Center. “Our first priority is the safety of the players and staff, and we will be following all social distancing, disinfecting and cleaning guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In the future, as we begin to add public events, we will also require everyone entering the center to wear masks.”

The Expo Center is looking forward to hosting many more upcoming events including, a car show, a model train show, multiple comic/gaming conventions, and quilting show through the summer and early fall. Check https://www.phillyexpocenter.com/, or valleyforge.org, for updates.

The VFTCB is proud to partner with the Expo Center to help restimulate positive economic impact for Montgomery County, said Mike Bowman, President & CEO of the VFTCB.

“The VFTCB values our partnership with members like the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center because together we are helping the hundreds of tourism, entertainment and hospitality businesses who employ over 20,000 people in Montgomery County get back to work and get back to business,” Bowman said.

The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks is located just minutes from King of Prussia and Valley Forge. The facility includes enough Sport Court multi-purpose flooring for 16 basketball courts, and other types of sports. The Expo Center also features the 5.5 acre Fairgrounds – all located on the same easily accessible property. The space is flexible and adaptable for events and meetings of all sizes. With new concerns about density and the desire for more outdoor space, its benefits meet the demands of a recovering COVID-19 world.
