The Valley Forge National Historical Park is known nationally and internationally for its history, recreation, and family fun! One of the most visited sites in Montgomery County (more than 2 million people a year), the site was created to preserve our nation’s history and tell the story of the Continental Army during the winter of 1777-78. For six months, the hills along the banks of the Schuylkill River served as the Army’s home, and one of the largest cities in the colonies. The men built hundreds of small log huts, each one serving as quarters for a dozen soldiers. Visitors can take tours of the huts and Washington’s Headquarters, as well as enjoy almost 30 miles of trails, and hiking, biking, running, picnics, and fishing.
The first zoo in the world to become a Certified Autism Center, the Elmwood Park Zoo features adventure and up-close encounters with some of nature’s most amazing creatures including giraffes. Get a bird’s-eye view at the Treetop Adventure Park ziplining and ropes course, or take a ride on the carousel.

Home to the Villanova Women’s Field Hockey Team, the Proving Grounds is the premier Mid-Atlantic multi-sport tournament complex located in Conshohocken. With nine fully lit, state-of-the-art turf fields, the facility features competition-level stripes for men’s and women’s lacrosse, soccer, and field hockey.
Competitive Edge is the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier basketball/volleyball destination that offers five state-of-the-art floors with a 6,000-square-foot SAQ area, facility rentals, catering, and a café in King of Prussia. The facility is centrally located to major roadways.
The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks has up to 240,000-square-feet of space on one level with four distinct halls. The facility can accommodate various layouts and has more than 5,000 on-site parking spaces. Located near major roadways, the Expo Center also offers indoor go-karts, laser tag, and an on-site arcade at Arnold’s Family Fun Center.
The Valley Forge Convention Center at Valley Forge Casino Resort offers 100,000-square-feet of flexible event space in the heart of Valley Forge and King of Prussia. The space has a variety of subdivision capabilities, 45 rooms with four ballrooms, seven dining and entertainment venues, more than 400 guest rooms, and central location to major roadways.
Oaks Center Ice is Montgomery County’s premier hockey and skating destination with three NHL-sized rinks. The facility, which also features ample spectator seating and an on-site restaurant, has also hosted MyHockey tournaments.
Reach Climbing and Fitness is a 23,000-square-foot indoor rock climbing facility in Bridgeport. The site hosted the 2019 USA Climbing: Sport & Speed Youth National Championships July 11-14 with youth teams and more than 1,000 people attended from across the country. The facility includes: 60-foot ceilings, the northeast’s only Olympic-sized speed wall, and the tallest, most comprehensive set of walls in the region.
