Visit Johnstown

Visit Johnstown is responsible for promoting Johnstown, PA & Cambria County as a sports tourism destination. We provide exceptional customer service to those considering our destination for their next big (or small) event!  We are happy to serve as a liaison between event holders and the local community including lodging and facility operators, the media, and other services.  We will set up information tables, provide welcome items for athletes, assist with promotion, coordinate site tours, and are open to discussion about funding assistance. Due to our diverse facility offerings, our community can host both traditional sports as well as other popular emerging activities. Johnstown has an extensive resume of hosting both regional and national events. Some of the most significant events include but are not limited to: All American Amateur Baseball Association (AAABA) National Tournament; Johnstown Marathon; Sunnehanna Amateur Tournament for Champions; Thunder in the Valley Motorcycle Rally; Stonycreek River Rendezvous; Rock Run ATV Summer Blast; and Rally at the Rock. We've hosted cycling stage races for Tour de'Toona; the Keystone State Games; Special Olympics Winter Games; PIAA High School Girls Volleyball Championships; state wrestling tournaments; state cheerleading championships; hockey tournaments, and more.
