VisitPITTSBURGH’s Pull Up a Chair. You are Welcomed Here. national marketing campaign earned an impressive 11 Telly Awards – seven silver and four bronze recognitions.

“The Pull Up a Chair. You are Welcomed Here. national marketing campaign continues to resonate with Pittsburghers and visitors more than a year after its launch,” Chief Marketing Officer Tom Loftus said. “The Telly Awards honors the best-of-the-best in video, and these recognitions are extremely special. Our national campaign was created completely in-house, and it is a great privilege to see VisitPITTSBURGH stand alongside a long list of prestigious finalists, including top marketing agencies and organizations.

“The campaign is built upon a welcoming Pittsburgh message and the act of offering someone a chair – a sign of hospitality and respect. Now, more than ever, we are thankful for the Pittsburghers who continue to help us push out the campaign’s welcoming message.”

The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world. The Telly Awards recognizes work that has been created on the behalf of a client, for a specific brand and/or company or self-directed as a creative endeavor.
