A Record 280 College Tennis Teams Coming to Hilton Head Island

Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) is pleased to announce a record 280 college tennis teams have registered for PTR Spring TennisFest, which will take place throughout March.

With an average eight players per team, that’s 2,240 college tennis players descending on the island . . . plus their coaches, support staff and parents! All coming to Hilton Head Island to enjoy the beautiful home, visit the beaches, play on the tennis courts, stay in the hotels and villas, and dine in the restaurants.

Spring TennisFest is a healthy alternative to the ‘traditional’ Spring Break, and coordinates with the calendar of each school’s break, so most of the action takes place the first and second weeks of March, but will continue until it tapers off at end of the month. Players and coaches love the opportunity to compete with teams from schools they would not otherwise get to play.  Exhibition matches will also be scheduled at area tennis clubs.
