Ripken Baseball® has announced plans to upgrade The Ripken Experience® Myrtle Beach in 2025, enhancing the Big League experience for players, families, and fans. The renovations include constructing a permanent food and beverage pavilion called The Bullpen, modernizing the retail store, and installing new field turf. Ripken Baseball aims to provide inclusive and premium facilities for young athletes in Myrtle Beach and its facilities across the country.

One of Myrtle Beach’s most anticipated additions in 2025 is The Bullpen, a popular spot for players and their families to relax. The 24'x85' area will feature shaded seating, yard games, and new food and beverage options located next to the facility's batting cages.

The planned upgrades also include significant improvements to the playing and retail experiences. One of Myrtle Beach’s signature fields, Ebbets Field, will be outfitted with new turf to create a high-performance playing surface. The on-site retail store will be modernized with a refreshed layout and an expanded selection of merchandise, including exclusive collaborations with Ripken Baseball partner Under Armour.

“These offseason renovations reflect our dedication to providing best-in-class facilities for youth athletes and their families,” said Matt Ensworth, General Manager of The Ripken Experience® Myrtle Beach. “At Ripken Baseball, we always strive to set a higher standard for youth sports, ensuring every visitor leaves with memories that last a lifetime.”

All upgrades, including the pavilion, are scheduled to be completed by Memorial Day 2025.

Located just minutes from South Carolina’s coastline, The Ripken Experience® Myrtle Beach features nine state-of-the-art replica fields modeled after historic Major League ballparks. Each field offers unique dimensions and playing experiences. The complex also includes multiple batting cages, bullpens, and training facilities, creating a Big League atmosphere for players and families.
