The U.S. Tennis Association’s club team tennis program, Tennis On Campus, has selected Hilton Head, South Carolina, to host its 2013 Fall Invitational Tournament.
The event will take place October 11-13, 2013 at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center.
The Spring Invitational, also just announced, is tentatively scheduled for April 11-13, 2014 and the facility is the Reffkin Tennis Center.
Tennis on Campus is USTA’s co-ed, club-based tennis program, and is intended to serve students who want to continue playing after high school, but who do not want to commit to participation in a varsity program. Across the nation, TOC participation is strong. The program encourages students to run their own organizations, do their own recruiting and coaching, and work out arrangements for facility use, either on campus or outside it.
