Susan Giaquinto Promoted to Controller of Finance Division at Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce that Susan Giaquinto has been promoted from Accounting Manager to Controller of the Chamber’s Finance Division.

As Controller, Giaquinto will act as the Finance Division’s lead accountant responsible for financial record keeping, regulatory compliance and expanding financial strategic initiatives that provide executive management with the information needed to help guide decisions. She will continue to work under the direction of Randy McKeel, MBACC Executive Vice President of Finance.

“The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber is very pleased to see Susan grow into the position of Controller and take on new responsibilities. Her dedication and integrity in her work is exceptional,” McKeel said.

Giaquinto has been an employee at the Chamber since 2005 after moving to Myrtle Beach from Maryland. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Previous experience includes working in operations for The Columbia Bank (now Fulton Bank) and as an Accounts Payable Processor for U.S. Foodservice (now US Foods).
