TNT Sportsplex is launching the new Appalachian Premier Volleyball Academy (APVA) as a rebranding of Kingsport Volleyball Club (KVC). Since April 2022 the APVA has hosted over 750 athletes for 6v6 league, skills clinics, sand volleyball league, and numerous positional volleyball clinics.
“We are thrilled to be operating the Appalachian Premier Volleyball Academy and offering premier training to local girls and boys in Kingsport and the surrounding area,” said Chris Kudera, general manager at TNT Sportsplex. Chris added, “The team in charge of executing the APVA leagues and clinics have over 50 years combined experience playing/coaching volleyball and are excited to pass along their skills and host spirited games and competitions.” The APVA board includes Chris Kudera as President, Katie Helvey as Vice President/Director of Coaching, Mollie Ramsey as Secretary/Director, and Kelli Ferguson as Director of Events and Tournaments.
APVA’s travel teams will include Hudl, Vertimax training, and general training with our elite coaching staff. The APVA also offers a Skills and Drills training for beginner and advanced players on Friday nights, and private lessons with coaches.
