Lubbock Sports, a division of Visit Lubbock, announces the addition of Cris Rohrer, sports sales manager, to their staff. Rohrer has more than 20 years of sales experience.
Rohrer’s primary responsibilities in the sports sales manager position include expanding the sports market contacts to solicit new events for Lubbock and facilitating the needs of sporting events visiting Lubbock. Rohrer will proactively seek out new contacts in the sports events industry by attending trade shows, conducting sales calls and capitalizing on lead sources.
“Cris Rohrer is the perfect fit to the Lubbock Sports Team,” John Osborne, president and CEO of Visit Lubbock, said. “He brings expansive experience and knowledge to our organization, and I know he’ll effectively market Lubbock as a sports destination, therefore generating a positive economic impact for the city.”
Rohrer’s previous positions include sales manager/owner at National Banking & Credit Services, sales manager for University Cash Systems, Inc., sales and service executive at Discover Business Services and more. Rohrer is a Lubbock native and attended Coronado High School and Texas Tech University. He is married and has two children.
