The Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), an affiliate of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce that the Holstein Association of Texas will host the annual All Texas Holstein Show in Abilene, March 19 - 22, 2025.
The Holstein Association of Texas has been the trusted steward of Holstein cattle records since 1885, providing dairy producers with essential genealogical, production, and genetic data to enhance herd performance. The All Texas Holstein Show displays the excellence of Holstein breeding through the showing of pure-bred Holstein cattle. Dedicated to preserving the integrity of the breed and promoting a passion for dairy farming, the All Texas Holstein Show will attract 175 attendees for four days of competition.
"We are delighted to welcome the All Texas Holstein Show to Abilene. This event showcases the dedication and excellence of dairy producers across Texas, celebrating a tradition that has shaped the industry for generations. Hosting an event like this highlights the importance of Holstein breeding and brings a significant economic impact to our community. We look forward to giving a warm Abilene welcome to exhibitors and attendees as they experience our city’s hospitality,” said Robert Lopez, Vice President, Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The 2025 show is anticipated to generate approximately 150 hotel room nights and an estimated $52,500 in economic impact for local businesses. Key events will be hosted in the First Financial Pavilion at the Expo Center of Taylor County.
