Abilene to Host USA Shuffle Skate in 2025

The Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), an affiliate of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce that the USA Shuffle Skate will host its Texas Shuffle Showdown in Abilene, January 23-25, 2025.

The USA Shuffle Skate Texas Showdown is a premier event for shuffle skate professionals and enthusiasts from around the nation, attracting 400 attendees for three days of excitement and fitness. Dedicated to preserving the sport and engaging participants from every age group USA Shuffle Skate promises a great experience for shuffle skate fans filled with exciting music, thrilling moves, and a lively atmosphere.

"As a hub for unique and engaging events, Abilene is excited to welcome USA Shuffle Skate at The Skatin Place. This exciting event highlights the art and energy of roller skating and brings people together for a weekend of fun, fitness, and connection, inviting skaters and spectators from near and far to experience Abilene," said Robert Lopez, Vice President of the Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The 2025 Texas Showdown is anticipated to generate approximately 210 hotel room nights and an estimated $114,300 in economic impact for local businesses. Key events will be hosted at The Skatin Place and Potosi Live. This will mark USA Shuffle Skates third annual Texas Showdown hosted in Abilene.
