Football Event Announced for Abilene, Texas

Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced an early kick-off for football season: the Action Sports Medicine Champions Classic Football Weekend, which will be held August 29-31, 2013.

The Shotwell Stadium, 1525 E.S. 11th Street, will be the venue for all games. The weekend features multiple games played by some of the best teams in Texas. Proceeds from the event fund college scholarships for Abilene's graduating student athletes.

 Ticket prices will be announced prior to the event and can be purchased at the gate. Further information on the weekend is available from Debi Schultz, Sports Sales Director.
