In a move to bolster community engagement and economic growth, the Sports Facilities Companies (SFC), the industry leader in sports and recreation management, has been selected as the operating partner for Portland Sports Complex and Portland Municipal Park by the city of Portland, Texas. These two outdoor facilities play a vital role in the community. In this role, SFC will manage all aspects of daily operations, including marketing and booking events, staffing and training, patron services, and maintenance.

Brian DeLatte, Deputy City Manager, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "These facilities were built to serve our residents, local user groups, and schools. They have already performed exceptionally well in supporting local activities while attracting visitors for tournaments and events. We believe SFC is the ideal partner to further enhance their performance and impact."
