Combined, these events feature athletes from more than 30 countries, and are expected to bring in a total of more than $6.3 million for the local economy. “USA Taekwondo is excited to continue their long-term partnership and collaboration with the Fort Worth Sports Commission by placing the 2024 U.S. Taekwondo National Championships in this outstanding city,” said Christy Simmons, senior director of events & member services at USA Taekwondo. “The enthusiastic support for our events from the Fort Worth Convention Center, hotels, restaurants and the Sports Commission is exceptional.” This latest win for Fort Worth is part of a comprehensive strategy by the Fort Worth Sports Commission to attract United States Olympic & Para-Olympic Committee Governing Bodies to Fort Worth.
