There are 83 public parks spanning more than 4,370 acres, 82+ miles of paved trails, 168 athletic fields, nine swimming pools, and five recreation centers. Turf fields can also be used and there are even tournament parks built into existing parks.

Plano is big on dining and shopping. From a family breakfast spot to a hip restaurant for a night out, Plano’s urban dining scene will suit any palate. With more than 800 restaurants in Plano, your groups’ only problem will be deciding exactly where to eat.
There are more than 70 shopping and dining centers including the downtown Plano Arts District, Shops at Legacy and The Shops at Willow Bend. Not to be missed is Plano’s newest urban development, Legacy West, boasting 415,000 dynamic square feet of open-air retail and restaurant space. Also at Legacy West is Legacy Food Hall, one of the nation’s largest and most unique food halls dedicated to serving the best-of food trends prepared by premier chefs and local artisans. The three-story, 55,000-square-foot European-style food hall, features 22 chef-driven food stalls, a brewery and a live music and entertainment venue.
Bring the family to the brand new Crayola Experience where visitors can explore the 60,000 square foot attraction that Parents Magazine calls one of the “Top 10 Trips to Take Before Your Kid Turns 10.” Experience 22 hands-on attractions inspired by Crayola products and their technologies. Visitors can name and wrap their own Crayola crayon, star in a coloring page, create melted wax spin-art, and learn how crayons are made in a live factory show.
Another favorite attraction is Pinstack offering VIP bowling experiences to two-story laser tag, bumper cars, LED lit six-lane rock climbing walls, hundreds of interactive games, and simulator technology.
