Troutville, Virginia’s Botetourt Sports Complex will host the National Christian College Athletic Association’s Natinoal Softball Championship. The selection committee seeded teams Saturday night from eight regions across the United States. Those teams have begun arriving and include (with seed #):

Prior to the official start of the tournament, the teams and their coaches will participate in community service activities across the county. Those activities allow the teams to give back to the host community while also promoting a sense of service among the players.
An overview of this week’s schedule includes community service:
- Wednesday May 14 – Community Christian Service Projects:
- Alpha Daycare – play games with and read to the children
- Camp Bethel – painting and cleaning
- Camp Eagle – cleaning facilities
- Fincastle Baptist Church – set up for NCCAA Banquet, mulch, paint, read to children
- The Glebe Retirement Community – landscaping and time with residents
- Lime Stone Park – painting & cleaning
- Mill Creek Baptist Church – cleaning and read to children at daycare
- Renovation Church – cleaning and painting
- Wellspring Church – landscaping
* Pre-Tournament Banquet – 7:00 p.m. at Fincastle Baptist Church
Thursday May 15 – First through Fourth round games from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. “Parade of Athletes” Opening Ceremonies will occur at approximately 2:00 p.m.
Friday May 16 – Fifth through Eighth round games from 12:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday May 11 – Last Semi-Final at 10:00 a.m. followed by the National Championship Game at 12:00 p.m. “If Necessary” game could occur at 2:00 p.m.
Admission: Adults $6.00; 12 and under $3.00; Botetourt Residents and those Five and under are free.
