The Snohomish County Sports Commission is proud to announce and welcome Nathan Caferro as the Sports Commission’s Sports Events Coordinator and Matthew Dollison as the Sports Commission’s Social Media & Communications Intern. Caferro will be responsible for servicing the event logistics of the sports events Snohomish County Sports Commission brings to Snohomish County. Matthew will be responsible for the social media promotion, graphic design, and communications of the Sports Commission. Both positions are newly created within the Sports Commission.
Caferro worked as an intern with Lilac Bloomsday Run and Lilac City Legends over the last year. He holds a B.S. in Sports Management from Gonzaga University. Growing up in Marysville, he developed a love for the outdoors and became heavily involved in sports and in his community. After graduating from Gonzaga University, he wanted to return Snohomish County and make a difference in his community.
Dollison is a senior majoring in Communications at Washington State University – Everett. He was born and raised in southern California and moved to the Pacific Northwest when he was 16. He participated in football and track at Glacier Peak High School. He looks forward to helping the sports commission team grow and help bring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest to eyes across the world.
“We are delighted to have both Nathan and Matthew join our team,” states Tammy Dunn, Snohomish County Sports Commission Executive Director. “These two positions will allow us to up our game in brand awareness and sports events services.”
