IRONMAN has announced that general registration for the 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities triathlon has officially sold out. Limited entries still remain available through The IRONMAN Foundation and Enhanced Athlete Event Experiences powered by NIRVANA.

The event, which is scheduled for September 22, 2024, is expected to see approximately 3,000 registered athletes take on the new location in the heart of Washington wine country in the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, and other surrounding areas.

For athletes who may have missed out on registering for the 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities triathlon, events such as the IRONMAN 70.3 Santa Cruz triathlon on September 8 and the IRONMAN 70.3 Indian Wells – La Quinta triathlon on December 8, among others, remain open for registration.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities triathlon will provide athletes with a triathlon tour of the Tri-Cities beginning at Howard Amon Park in Richland, with a 1.2-mile down river point-to-point swim in the Columbia River.

Once out of the water, athletes will enter the single transition at Columbia Point Park and onto the bike leg. The rolling 56-mile bike course will feature Tri-Cities wineries through rural country roads.

Once back in Richland and to the riverfront, athletes will transition to a 13.1-mile run featuring the Riverfront Trail and its shoreline parks.

The 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities triathlon will offer age group qualifying slots to the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon.
