The Wisconsin esports community is gearing up for the highly anticipated Wisconsin Esports Summit, set to take place on Monday, March 11th at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. Following the success of the previous year's event, which saw over 350 attendees from 146 organizations across the state and Midwest, this year's event promises to continue to establish itself nationally as a go to destination for the industry.
Attendees can expect a day filled with education, community building, and overall fun. The Wisconsin Esports Summit will feature several breakouts and mainstage discussions; including on topics like the exploding Scholastic and Collegiate esports ecosystem as well around professional esports content creation, with esteemed locally sourced panelists sharing their insights and expertise.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in various “GamerZones”, which feature entertainment and gameplay from local gaming venues; including GameTogether MKE, Magik4Gaming’s the Hub, Carcade, and BHOP esports. With a plethora of consoles and games available (including some available to be played on the JumboTron), there will be no shortage of fun and excitement for gamers of all levels.
One of the additional highlights of the summit will be the Wisconsin Collegiate Rocket League Showcase, where eight Wisconsin universities will compete in a friendly tournament throughout the day. This is a unique opportunity for attendees to witness high-level competition and cheer on their favorite Wisconsin teams.
Additionally, the summit will feature an impressive lineup of partners and vendors, including local, regional, and national brands. Their participation underscores the growing importance of the esports industry and demonstrates their commitment to supporting and engaging with the Wisconsin gaming community.
"We are thrilled to bring the Wisconsin Esports Summit back to Milwaukee for another year of excitement, education, and camaraderie," said Brandon Tschacher, Founder of the Milwaukee Esports Alliance. "With an expanded lineup of activities and an impressive roster of local panelists and partners, this year's event promises to be our best yet. We look forward to welcoming attendees from across the state and beyond for a day of celebration of all things esports."
